MANILA, Philippines -- For celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe
Marudo, what started as pretend turned out to be the real thing.
Guesting on "Gandang Gabi Vice" aired on Sunday, Alonzo revealed that she asked Marudo to pretend to be her boyfriend at a bar to escape from a drunk man who was bothering her.
"Parang may pagka-DOM, lasing. Parang out of control na siya.
It was her manager who told her to sit next to Marudo.
But Marudo admitted that it took time before he decided to pursue Alonzo.
"Baka kasi isipin niya magte-take advantage ako noon kaya pinatagal ko na muna," he added.
Marudo pretended to be Alonzo's boyfriend for a second time during a birthday party.
The couple will celebrate their second anniversary on March 16 next year.
Alonzo and Marudo also kissed on "Gandang Gabi Vice" after the actor performed "Ordinary Song."
